Finish your last cocktail several hours before you plan on going to bed. EAT WELL Eating a well-balanced diet is essential for feeling energetic. Advocacy at St. John’s
Lending a voice to the voiceless and a hand to those who need our help.
While St. John’s has always been active in the community with such events as the annual Strawberry Fest, summer Fish Fry, Martin Luther King Celebration and Harmony Fest, the monthly themes will give our faith community the opportunity to examine important issues in more depth. The group will sponsor events that provide opportunities for both education and action on the related theme. Regular attendees of all ages will be encouraged to wrestle with difficult questions of justice throughout each month, as the theme is revisited through gallery displays, workshops, speakers, film showings, articles, dinners, and other means of encountering the issues.
Please take the time to click on the above link and support our troops overseas anyway you can. We ask that you keep the men and women of our military in your prayers and that you prayerfully consider going to www.anysoldier.com and send our men and women some of the comforts of home by supplying them with the needs they have listed on this website. Please be sure to read through the entire website for what you should and shouldn't send. If nothing else, send them letters and words of encouragement.
